Hot Water

Are you considering your options for hot water?

Solar hot water is just one option, however it has its limitations. As we know, hot water tanks, with their heating elements are one of the biggest users of power in our households. For many years, solar hot water systems were an option to reduce that cost, however there is a better and cheaper way!

With Solar PV systems never having been cheaper, the smarter way to power your house and hot water, is to do one of the following:

Already have electric hot water?

If you already have and electric hot water system, then you are far better off purchasing a Solar PV system ( one of the issues with solar hot water is they take up a lot of prime roof space making it difficult for many people to have both solar hot water and solar PV), and having us install a 24/7 time clock on your hot water circuit, so the hot water is heated during the day for FREE by the power of the sun thru your solar PV system.

Looking for a new hot water system or considering solar hot water as option?

For new installations, replacement of old hot water system, or old solar hot water systems, your best option for affordability and return on your investment is purchase a solar PV system (if you do not already have one) and a new electric hot water tank, which we install on a 24/7 time clock on your circuit to allow your solar to heat the tank during the day for FREE using the power of the sun.

Electric hot water tanks

We have electric hot water tanks in 250, 300 and 400L sizes to suit all needs.

Looking for something more up-market, then look no further than the Bosch Compress Heat Pump system, which can be integrated with the Bosch Solar PV system to give you a complete intellligent home package.

Bosch Compress 3000 is an air to water heat pump which was developed in Europe converting the same reliable technology used in refrigerators to extract heat from the air and transfer it into the water.

This means that the heat pump reduces energy use by up to 65% compared to a conventional electric storage hot water system.

Engineered and manufactured in Europe, the Bosch Compress 3000 includes ‘smart controls’, which allow the user to maximise their savings while best suiting their hot water needs. They can also be used to optimise energy usage in combination with a PV solar energy generation system.
