Training and Trainers
Solar Logic offers a number of courses for those interested in using the BERS Pro software to assess the thermal performance of buildings. These include a 4 day basic course as well as refresher and advanced courses.
Our trainers teach the use of the BERS Pro software within the Short Course in Building Thermal Performance Assessment (Residential). This course, which has been accredited for use throughout Australia, is mandatory for those wishing to submit thermal assessments using thermal simulation software under the BCA.
The course is made up of two days of theory and professional practice and two days of learning to use the BERS Pro software. The theory course was condensed from the 65 hour Energy Efficient Building Design Course developed for use in TAFEs throughout Australia by Dr Holger Willrath of Solar Logic. The theory course provides the basis for understanding many of the complexities dealt with by the BERS Pro software.
All training throughout Australia is conducted exclusively by Solar Logic.
